The other day my daughter had the great idea of watercoloring cards and sending a nice note to someone. With all the recent events taking place I've been trying my hardest to make my kids aware and open their eyes to what IS and what IS NOT acceptable. I believe if we are going to have love and kindness in our hearts to EVERYONE around us, it starts in the home. Her desire to do this activity reassured me just a little that she is aware and listening to the things being taught to her. It all starts in the home. We are ALL God's children and I want my kids to remember that. God loves all of us no matter the color of your skin, where you come from, gender, he loves all. SO..
