We make a leprechaun trap EVERY year, and we love it! We've even been lucky enough to catch a leprechaun trap before. Read the note below. Did you know if you catch a leprechaun and he can't escape he disappears into thin air and is replaced with a pot of treasure!? My daughter caught him last year and she was SO excited to find a jar of treasure and this note:

Other fun activities we like to do every year are:
Hide the Shamrock: Take a shamrock and hide it every day leading up to St. Patrick's Day. Whoever finds it one day gets to hide it the next day, and you can even include a prize for the person who finds it!

You could also do a green themed dinner! Green jello, green pasta, green salad, green mashed potatoes, or green mac n cheese!
Some fun leprechaun pranks we see at our house a lot are: green milk, green toilet water, tiny footprints on toilet paper, toilet seat, green leprechaun dust on the table (which we think might be white sugar dyed green).
